Hey there!
Love it, that I'm not the only one, thinking FOSS is the way to go (not only in magic)!
And love, that you are a tinkerer and made me smile. I have some ideas of my own but no one to discuss and develop. Do you now platforms for that?
Cheers,
Laenan
Thank you Laenan! Happy to know there are more crazy people like us
We dont know any platform to discuss. Usually in the forums, but hard to find tinkers.
If you want to share anything you can contact us, we will try to publish in our blog or help you if we can.
Hey Martin!
Good the hear that. Yes, I had the feeling that the magic community is (online) more closed source and 'traditional'. That scared me a bit from finding discussion partners there.
Maybe I will be working on something over christmas, than I would be glad to share. But my 3D printer is at my workplace, where I will not have access the next weeks. :-( I will keep your offer in mind.
Another idea: Magic Hackathon to crowd source ideas etc. :-)
Cheers,
Dennis
P.S.: Oh my... in my last message are a lot of types. Sorry for that!
A hackathon would be nice, but I think most magicians dont really like to share their ideas, which I can understand. Here is my blog, where im doing ant work to try to show the "good side" of open source. Probably, still the best place to brainstorm and share ideas is in person, with magicians you know and trust.
